I started building things when I was seven and have enjoyed it ever since. In 1973 to 1981 I ran a remodeling business.
The first three years were spent restoring homes built between 1840 and 1870 in the Soulard Market and Lafayette Square areas of St Louis.
	The last years of remodeling were spent on homes in the Corbet/Kelly neighborhood of Portland.
